Nepal is a magnificent destination for people of all ages and interests. There is something for everyone. With rich cultures, thriving flora and fauna, gorgeous lakes, and majestic mountains, this place is sure to mesmerize you. There are a lot of amazing places that you can visit here. You will definitely not be able to fully explore Nepal in a short period of time. However, you can visit the major tourist attractions around or close to the capital of the country. These essential tourist destinations are very popular individual locations, and have great significance in the context of Nepal.
On the day of your arrival, you will be warmly greeted by us. We will pick you up from the airport, and take you to your hotel. You can rest for the rest of the day, or you can take a stroll around the hotel area, wandering in the bustling streets of Kathmandu.
The next day brings a fresh start to your visit around the amazing Kathmandu Valley .After breakfast, we will be going to visit Swayambhunath. The giant stupa of Swayambhunath is one of the World Heritage Sites of Nepal. The place holds great value to the Buddhist community. You will witness amazing views of the valley from the top of the hill where the stupa is located. After that, we go to visit another World Heritage Site of Nepal, i.e. Patan Durbar Square. The place has an amazing environment with ancient architecture, gorgeous temples, and rich culture. The place is sure to mesmerize you. After spending time there, we will take you back to your hotel.
The third day of your trip, we will be going to visit two more Heritages Sites of Nepal. Pashupatinath is one of the most prominent temples for the Hindus. The place, said to be established in 753 AD, is a great Hindu temple where thousands of worshippers visit every day. The place is magnificently built, with golden roofs, and silver doors. It is sure to pique your interest. After that, we make your way to Boudhanath. The place is another stupa, and is considered the most important shrine for Tibetan Buddhuists. The place has an amazing atmosphere, with monks praying and meditating around the place.
The fourth day of the trip, we will embark on exploring two new heritage sites of Nepal. First, we go to visit Changunarayan. The temple is an ancient and symbolic Hindu temple located 12 km east of Kathmandu. The temple is surrounded by a forest. Built in the 3rd Century, this temple is greatly praised and worshipped by Hindu worshippers. After that, we go on to Bhaktapur Durbar Square. The place used to be a courtyard for the then king who ruled the city. Now, with full of ancient architecture, and rich history, the place is a World HEritage site and a popular tourist destination. The place offers a lot of beautiful sightseeing opportunities, many souvenir shops, and local restaurants where you can taste the local cuisine.
The next day, we will embark to places on the outskirts of the valley. After breakfast, we will visit some leftover places at Bhaktapur. Then, we head straight up to Nagarkot, a hilltop town with mesmerizing views. The place is popular for both local and foreign tourists. With serene environment, and amazing hosp[itality, Nagarkot is a place you must visit at least once. However, we will not be spending much time there. After Nagarkot, we will go to Dhulikhel, the outskirts of the valley. THe place also has some nice attractions like the 1000steps, a hilltop hotel, etc. We will spend the night at a hotel.
After a wonderful night at Dhulikhel, we have some delicious breakfast at the hotel, and move on to visit Namobuddha. The place holds a special sentiment to Buddhist followers. It is believed that Lord Buddha offered his own flesh to a hungry tigress and her cubs while on his way to teach about Buddhism. That place came to be known as Namobuddha. The Buddhist monastery and stupas lie atop a hill, and boasts beautiful scenery along with a serene atmosphere.
Another beautiful day awaits you in beautiful Nepal. After spending amazing time at Namobuddha, we journey on towards Balthali. The place lies lies just beyond Panauti town And Khopasi. The destination lies atop a beautiful hill, a small, cozy retreat from all the bustling vehicles and the dust of the Kathmandu Valley. You will have an amazing time there. There is a gorgeous resort there where we will be staying. The place serves amazing food and offers an overall great experience.
After a revitalizing day in Banthali, we will bid farewell and go to Panauti. The place is a beautiful village area with great people. We will roam around the place in the evening.After a great lunch in Panauti, we will head back to the capital city, Kathmandu. The drive from Panauti to Kathmandu will take about 2 hours. We will drop you to your hotel and you can dine there.
The next day, and we will pick you up from the hotel, and we will embark to Dakshinkali. Dakshinkali is a major Hindu temple dedicated to the Goddess Kali. THe place is a major tourist attraction as well, to witness beautiful architecture and the culture of Hindus. After spending some valuable time there, we will move on towards Tistung Deurali. The place lies in Makwanpur district of Narayani Zone in Nepal. The place is a secluded area of natural beauty and rich culture. Although fairly new to the tourism aspect, the place has an amazing resorts and hotels for accommodation. We will be spending the night there and eat the local cuisines of that place.
After a breathtaking sunrise from the valley, and a scrumptious breakfast, we will spend the whole day here. Roaming around the village, going on short hikes, or even resting the whole day, you are free to do what you want. In the evening, we will have a bonfire and spend some quality time with the locals singing and dancing. Dinner will be served at the hotel, or you can go to the village area and experience the local food served by the local people.
The time to say goodbye to Tistung is here. We will leave this beautiful place and make your way to Chitlang. Chitlang is a small paradise, 22 km south of the capital city. With panoramic views, and wonderful landscapes, Chitlang is sure to mesmerize you. Although we will not be spending much time there, the place will be something that you will not forget. After lunch there, we will head back to Kathmandu. You will be dropped to your hotel there.
The next day, we will be going to the Royal Palace Museum in Durbarmarg. Narayanhiti Palace was home to the then king before Democracy was established. The place is also famous for the event that took place there. The infamous Royal Palace Massacre which was orchestrated to kill the then King Birendra took place there. The king, along with his family was massacred there. All in all, the museum is an interesting place and will pique your interest for sure. After that, you are free to do what you want. You can roam around the city, go shopping, or you can rest for the day. It is up to you.
