A trek to the amazing Annapurna Base Camp is very appropriate for first time trekkers to the majestic Himalayas. This trek offers you scenic natural beauty including beautiful forest of rhododendron, oak, pine, and beautiful gorges.
You get to witness and experience the amazing culture of Magar and Gurung ethnicity in person. The hospitality of the people of the region will amaze you. And talking about the views, you will bear witness to many great mountains like Annapurna I, Mt. Fishtail, Mt. Hiunchuli, etc.
Ghorepani, Tadapani, Ghandruk and the like. We will depart to Birethanti from the capital and from there, the trek will commence. We will reach in Ghorepani on the fourth day. After witnessing an amazing sunset and sunrise from Poonhill, we move forwards towards the foot of the Himalayas.
We will reach the base camp of the eighth day of the trek. The destination, Annapurna Base Camp will be magical with a close-up view of amazing snow-capped mountains, and panoramic sunsets. We will camp there for the day, and return down from the next day. The descent will be accompanied by mesmerizing flora and fauna.
We will address you at the airport on your arrival at Nepal. We will drop you to the hotel from the airport and help you with the check in formalities.
The next day, we will move to a small village at the foot of the Modi Khola Valley called Birethanti. The village is at around 1,100 metres and is one of the main stops on the Annapurna Circuit treks. The small village offers a cozy atmosphere with a breath of fresh air and great views. Overnight at a lodge.
After a good night's sleep at Birethanti, we will journey towards another small village known as Ulleri. The hile leading up to Ulleri will be 5-6 hours long. Ulleri is another popular stop on the trek to Annapurna Base Camp. The beautiful village ill mesmerize you with amazing scenery and even more amazing hospitality from the locals.
This is the day that we reach Ghorepani. After walking for about 5 hours from Ulleri, we will reach the amazing Ghorepani. The place is a very popular tourist destination. It is particularly famous for the amazing sunset and sunrise views from Poonhill. Poonhill is an hour hike from Ghorepani and is like a viewpoint for sunsets. The place will mesmerize you with the amazing scenery that it offers. We will stay overnight here.
The fifth day of the trek, we say farewell to the amazing Ghorepani and travel further towards Tadapani. Tadapani iis a small village in the Annapurna Himalayas that is a common overnight stop on the Annapurna Base Camp trek. With friendly and welcoming locals, you will experience the authentic Gurung culture firsthand. We will stay overnight here.
After having breakfast at TAdapani, we continue our journey and move closer towards the Himalayas. On the sixth day of the trip, we will walk for about 5-6 hours alongside amazing sceneries and beautiful vegetation. The mountains will keep us company as we journey forward. The day’s stop will be at Chhomrong, a small village residence area at 2,170 m. The place is a perfect resting area with good lodges. We will spend the night here.
After descending to the suspension bridge over the Chomrong Khola we hike the trail to the small hamlet of Dobhan via the villages of Sinuwa, Kuldiha and Bamboo. About half an hour past Dobhan, a shrine which is the sacred home of the deity Panchhi Baraha and next to it is a view of an impressive waterfall. Passing the Modi Khola the trail goes steeply up to Himalaya Hotel. The hotel will be where we will stay for the night.
Finally the day has arrived.The day when you will finally reach your destination, which is the Annapurna Base Camp. After a fulfilling breakfast at the Himalaya, we journey towards the top. The base camp, situated at an altitude of 4,130 m offers views unparalleled anywhere else. The cold and refreshing air straight from the himalayas will revitalize not only your mind and body, but even your soul. The base camp experience will be something that you will never forget for the rest of your life.
Finally time to say goodbye to the amazing base camp. We will make our way down towards the city area no as the trek is in the ending phase. Since it is all downhill from here, it should not be any problem. We will descend for about 6 hours and reach Bamboo where we will stay the night.
The descend continues. We will travel downhill for another 5-6 hours from Bamboo today. The amazing scenery will be there to accompany us. We will reach a small village called Jhinu where we will be spending the night and experience some local cuisines.
Today is when our trek ends. We will descend to Birethanti from Jhinu, which will take about 4-5 hours. After we reach there, we will go to Pokhara in a vehicle which will take about an hour. Then, you can either rest at your hotel, or you can go out and enjoy the nightlife of Pokhara, one of the most happening places of Nepal.
The next day, you will spend roaming around Pokhara. The city of lakes, Pokhara has a lot to offer for sightseeing. We will spend the night there as well
On this day, we will head back to the capital city. After a scrumptious breakfast at Pokhara, we will head back. You can either choose to fly to Kathmandu, or drive there. It will take about 6 hours on a vehicle whereas only half an hour via a plane. The choice is completely yours.
This day is given as a leisure for you to rest. If you choose not to, you can roam around the bustling and full of life cities of kathmandu. Eat some local food, do some shopping, you can do what you wish! The evening, we will have a celebratory dinner for the completion of the trek.
Your final day here in Nepal. We will help you with the check out formalities and drop you off at the airport!
