Namunla to Mesokanto Trek offers you wonderful trip to explore your dreams and view the captivating hidden treasure of Nepal. If you are adventure lover then trek to Namunla to Mesokanto is definitely remedy for thrill seeking adventure trekkers which combines incredible spectacular views and rewards with insight into the culture of the surrounding region.

Trek from Annapurna High route through Namunla is untouched and a new route that avoids lowers part of Marsyangdi along the alpine track. Trek from Namunla to Mesokanto is of 21 days program where you can explore several Himalyas during your journey like Himchuli, The Ngadi Himal, Annapurna, and Dhaulagiri and so on. You will begin trek from Jagat then follow Annapurna round path upto Koto where we leave main trail and take right path towards Naar- Phu valley to explore un bitten region. After that, you will reach to the Crystal Lake Tilicho crossing two passes. The entire journey will be adventure, excitement and self realization with exotic scenery, lofty snow-white peaks, undefined virgin beauty of Himalaya Mountains, splendid forests, mesmerizing glaciers, monasteries.

Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Airport
We will heartily welcome you in airport. Our staff will receive you and also help to check- in formalities then transfer to you in hotel. You can take rest; we will meet you in evening for trip briefing. If you want you can roam around bustling streets of Kathmandu for shopping or sightseeing then our staff will tell you about trip. You will stay in hotel.

Day 2 KATHMANDU - BESISAHAR – JAGAT
We leave by bus for Dumre, 130 km from Kathmandu, on the road to Pokhara. The road offers magnificent views of the Trisuli river valley, then we cross superb tropical landscapes, before going up towards Dumre and having a first vision of the Annapurnas and the Machhapuchhare. From there, we continue north, to Besi Sahar, by a track that winds through the rice fields. Then, we take a Jeep to reach Jagat, the starting point of our hike. Transfer: by private vehicle (7 hours, 130 km) Accommodation: night in lodge Meals: breakfast / lunch / dinner Altitude at the end of the day: 1,300 m

Day 3 JAGAT - DHARAPANI
The Marsyangdi River rumbles at the bottom of its gorges, forcing us to cross some beautiful suspension bridges. Just before Tal, the valley opens abruptly and we can admire the Manaslu (8,163 m). After an ascent along cliffs, we reach Dharapani by another suspension bridge. We are now in Buddhist country, which was part of the Gyasumdo region, whose center was Manang, and which traded a lot with Tibet. Number of hours of walking: 6 hours 30 min Elevation: + 1,100 m / - 450 m Accommodation: night in lodge Meals: breakfast / lunch / dinner Altitude at the end of the day: 2,000 m Ascend: 700m Descend: 200 Walking: 7 hours

Day 4 DHARAPANI - KOTO
The path bends sharply towards the west to enter a valley where the vegetation becomes alpine with pines and junipers which replace the virgin forest. We are changing the level of vegetation. Number of hours of walking: 5 hours Elevation: + 700 m / - 100 m Accommodation: overnight in lodge or tent Altitude at the end of the day: 2,600 m

Day 5 Koto to Meta (3600m)
Today, we will explore the valley along with two beautiful villages; Naar and Phu. We will walk alernately right and left bank since valley is long and narrow too. The valley is rich in natural beauty; you can see cascades of waterfalls mixing into Naar Khola, greenery, vegetation. The valley represents both subtropical Nepal and arid Nepal. After 7 hours long walk, we will reach in Meta. We will overnight at camp.

Day 6 Meta to Kyang (3900m)
The next day, we will explore Meta because the valley opens a little from Meta from where you can view Annapurna II at right to the south and Lamjung pierce at the end of the valley. We will continue our journey and reach to Kyang crossing Phu Khola and passing through Junum and Chyako. It is believed that the famous Tibetan warriors used to make former camps in Kyang like Meta and stayed as refugee in Nepal. The villagers believe that Khampas came from Tibet and built Meta, Jhunum, Kyang, Chyako and Nagorgu villages. After walking 3 hours, we will overnight there. If you have luck then you see Bharals at night on the slopes while coming for drinking water.

Day 7 Kyang to Phu (4100m)
On the next day, we will leave Kyang and walk towards Phu. It is said that the villagers of Phu migrate to Kyang during winter. If lucky then you can see bharals when they come to graze in the mini plateau which is near to the houses. Then, continue the journey towards mountainside, along narrow gorge and crossing the huge rocks and climbing about 100 meters, we will see door of Phu is welcoming us. You will view foothills of Gyajikang located at 7000m in one side where as on the other side, marvelous stupas, and strong walls of Phu make you surprise. You will see the gateway of Phu after walking a head then enters into a beautiful village called Phu. It is the last village in valley before reaching Tibet. It is difficult to see the houses due to Massif Mountains but captivating colorful prayer flags make the village awesome. You can get opportunity to explore the lifestyle of the villagers. Overnight in Phu village forgetting all the tiredness during journey.

Day 8 Phu to Loang (4700m) via Phu La (5050m)
Today, we will leave Phu and walk a head through Phu La pass then after reaching to the altitude where Himlung and Nemjung are located in eastern horizon. From there, we will take short descent then again we will climb to another stream for setting our camp. After 7 hours long walk, we will overnight at camp.

Day 9 Loang to Naar La (4200m) by Naar La (5400m)
The next day, we will leave Loang then continue our journey. When you pass Naar La, you will view mesmerizing view of Chuli and Annapurna massif then you will find Manaslu massif welcome you on the way which will rejuvenate and encourage you to walk a head. Finally, we will reach to our destination, Naar La (5400m) after 9 hours long walk then we will overnight at camp.

Day 10 Naar to Naar Phedi (4500m)
Today, we will have short day walk then enjoying view of pastures of Naar located in the direction of Kang La, we will cross two high passes then reach to Naar Phedi where we will set up camp then explore the panaromic view of Naar Phedi. Later on, we will overnight there at camp.

Day 11 Naar Phedi to Ngawal (3650m) by the Kang La (5300m)
After spending amazing night at Naar Phedi, today we will climb up to the pass from where we can view magnificent north faces of Annapurna, the whole chain then begin dropping from Annapurna II to Tilicho peak. You will view Lamjung Himal in the east and Tilicho lake in the west while crossing from Namunla pass, so it isthe great resonance of Annapurna High road. After a long walk, we will reach to Ngawal then overnight there.

Day 12 Ngwal to Khangsar (3700m)
The next, on sixteenth day, we will leave Ngwal and and descend towards Manang which haven always a great traders and it was found the people of Manang practiced trans –Himmalaya trade of salt, cereals between Tibet and India. We will cross large beautiful village called Chamonix then reach to as very gorgeous small village called Khangsar. You can see the path of crow's feet towards thorong La on the one side and on the other side Ticho Lake for the addventure lovers along Mesokento Pass. Today we will stay at Khangsar and overnight there.

Day 13 Khangsar to Tilicho base camp (4100m)
Today we will leave Khangsar and ascent our journey after a long walk; we will reach to Tilicho base camp but not at the lap of the lake. To reach the lakes we need to cross several pass. So, enjoying the panaromic view, we will overninght there.

Day 14 Tilicho base camp to Mesokanto base camp (500m)
Today is very special day for us so, after having breakfast, we will walk towards Mesokanto base camp. Today, we will leave Tilicho base camp and take a last glance of Manaslu from far distance then we will walk on a rocky slope towards astounding Tilicho Lake. Not only this, breathtaking view of Tilicho peak glacier will revitalize and rejuvenate to walk further. After that we will descent. Exotic scenery of north face of Tilicho peak, ices falling into the water, gorgeous Crystal Lake are impressive and make your day fabulous and great. Later on, walking around the whole lake we will reach in our destination, Mesokanto base camp then overnight there.

Day 15 Mesokanto base camp to Kharka (4200m) via the northern Mesokanto (5450m)
After spending magnificent night in Mesokanto base camp, today, we will begin our journey and while crossing two or three passages, you need to be careful and we will help to one another by holding hands and it will be only for short period so you don't have to worry. During the journey, on the way, you will see the view of Tilicho peak, Khangsar Kang from the far end the Gangapurna will help to move ahead. After that, walking some hour, we will cross highest pass of our trek from wherewe have panoramic view of Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri in the western and extension of Tilicho peak make you feel relief from your tiredness. Before departure, you will get an opportunity to give a glance to north faces of Annapurna. Then we will descent on large blocks. After 7 hours long and arduous walk, finally we will reach to Yak Kharka.

Day 16 Kharka to Jomsom (2800m)
The scenic sunrise and mesmerizing views will revitalize and rejuvenate to walk further. Today is the last day of our trek so we all feel relief from the arduous trek. We will begin our journey, after having breakfast then walk a head for few hours, you will find a beautiful modernized village while comparing with others during your entire journey. Here, you can get facilities of internet, foods, and some souvenirs. We will explore Jomsom and overnight at lodge with celebration of return of long trek by crossing high passes.

Day 17 Flight from Jomsom to Pokhara
After spending fabulous night in Jomsom, today after breakfast, we will catch early flight due to weather condition, the strong wind blow from Tibetan plateau and Kali Gandaki valley. If we need to cancel flight due to weather condition then we will take our private jeep then go to Pokhara travelling through jeep. Overnight in a beautiful city.

Day 18 Exploration day in Pokhara
The next morning, after taking breakfast, you will get opportunity to explore the panoromic view of cleanest and beautiful city of Nepal. You can see the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Maccha puchhre, the famous Himalayas. Not only this, Phewa Lake and boating around, peace stupa are impressive and make you relief from all your tiredness. You will feel you are in heaven with full of natural beauty. Later on, we will go back to hotel and overnight there.

Day 19 Flight/Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu
Spending amazing night in Pokhara, today, we will return to the capital city. So, after having breakfast and some more sightseeing, we will take flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu but if you wish you want to see the Nepalese culture and various forms of landscape on the way then we will take private jeep or bus depending on the number of our members. Finally, we will reach to Kathmandu crossing many exotic scenery along the beautiful river. Then, you will be transfer to hotel where you can take rest. Overnight there.

Day 20 Guided Sightseeing and Farewell Dinner in Kathmandu
Today is another important day for you because you can explore world cultural heritages located in Kathmandu valley like Kathmandu Durbar square, Patan Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Boudha stuppa, Swayambhunath, Bhaktapur Durbar square and so on! You will know and experience that Nepal is not only rich in natural beauty as well as scenery with different landscapes but rich in arts, architecture and culture too. During your tour, if you wish you can take help of your guide and do some more shopping and spend joyful day. We will enjoy our farewell dinner for completing outstanding and wonderful journey with great success then overnight in hotel.

Day 21 Departure
The final day of the amazing adventure, after having breakfast, we will help you with the checkout formalities and drop you off to the airport with a heavy heart.
